What if people knew that they could be more?  That God had a life full of great plans for them.  That their days would consist of much more than just existing from one day to the next.  Real change is hard at times and goes against the nature of how we have been trained to think.  Change must start from the heart and mind of a person. In my own life, I have had to make great changes. I have seen days of plenty and days of wanting and made choices to turn my life around. When life gets too hard you can turn to vices that help you get through the day, like drinking, drugs and sex.  The fight to improve and lift yourself up and out, is all but gone.  I know most people have the capability to rise above their situations. To be more than they believe they can be. Sometimes the climb can be hard and the road long, but the change that it brings is well worth it. It starts in small ways, like being willing to change the way you think and have the confidence to make better choices. God has made us to be victorious and above the troubles that come at us in this world.  You can do so much more, but first you have to believe that God is the One who enables you to do so. You are loved, you are special to Him. You are as valuable and precious to God as His Son, Jesus. You are as needed as anyone else in this world.  Our lives come and go, but while we are here, it doesn’t have to be wasted.  There is a saying,” If you don’t believe in something, you’ll fall for anything.” It is very important to believe in something, more than just what today offers. Trusting in God allows hope to blossom in our lives.
