Shiawassee Harvest Church and Eastside Harvest Church exist to Evangelize to the lost, to Disciple believers, Encouraging them through Fellowship, Worship of God and Training them to use their gifts to glorify God. That every person would come to know the Love of God.
That there is one self-existent God manifested, or expressed in three persons, the Father, the son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit (the Trinity.)
That the Bible is God's infallible, and authoritative Word. It teaches us about Himself, his ways and truths and His plan for the salvation of mankind. It is useful for teaching, correcting and doctrine. It was written by men, inspired by God Himself. (II Timothy 3:16)
That all creation had design and purpose that begins and ends in and with our Lord Jesus Christ. (I John1:1-3 & Col. 1:16)
That God loves every person so much that He sent Jesus Christ to redeem, reconcile and restore mankind to Himself. (John 3:16, John 10:10, II Corinthians 5:18)
That Jesus Christ is THE ONLY way to God. (John 6:6, John 14:6, Acts 4:12)
That Jesus was born of a virgin. (Isa. 7:14, Luke 1:34-35)
That He (Jesus) lived a sinless life. (Hebrews 4:15, I John 3:5)
That He died on a cross and shed His perfect blood as the final payment for the sin of all mankind. (Col. 1:20, II Cor. 5:19 & 21)
That God offers eternal life to all mankind through believing in His son, Jesus Christ, receiving His sacrifice for sins as the only way to inherit eternal life, knowing that we cannot earn salvation by good works or by observing the law. Salvation is by Grace through faith. (John 1:12-14, John 3:15, Ephesians 2:8-10, Galatians 5:26)
That Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, triumphing over death and sin for all mankind. (Romans 6:9-10, Rev. 1:8)
That the ordinances of baptism and communion are to be practiced by the church (all believers in Christ) until His return.
That the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts or manifestations of the Holy Spirit are for all of those who ask. (Luke 11:13, Mat. 3:11, I Cor. 12:7-11)
That there will be a resurrection of both the saved and the lost. That the saved will spend eternity Heaven in the presence of God and the lost will spend eternity in Hell, the lake that burns with fire and brimstone. (Rev. 21:7-8)
That Jesus will come again in power and glory to receive His people to Himself.
That man was created in the image and likeness of God.
